The Flux Mini was Microbeau's first wireless machine specifically designed for the permanent make-up (PMU) industry. It features a shorter stroke and significantly smaller footprint so that it may be wielded in an industry dominated by female professionals. The drive mechanism was a dramatically smaller adaption of the Spektra Xion drive mechanism. Because PMU procedures are much shorter than a typical tattoo session, smaller motors and components could be utilized without sacrificing the quality and efficiency of the original drive train. Additionally, the smaller 2.5 mm stroke meant that less current was drawn on the battery pack and less wear on the motor. Like the Flux, the battery pack is detachable. It can be operated at 5-10V and utilizes a 900 mAh Li-Po battery. Voltage is displayed and operated via the integrated membrane switch on the battery pack.
