The Killswitch was conceptualized and designed to provide a smart blue-tooth enabled tattoo machine switch with no buttons; compatible with the Flux family of machines and the Hover power supply. Conceptualization initially began as a simple update to FK Irons' previous Delta footswitch that could be actuated from 360 degrees. 50+ iterations later, the design incorporated an accelerometer capable of sensing taps thus broadcasting a signal to its connected device to shut off. The machine has one physical SMT tactile switch to cut power off from its integrated 900 mAh Li-Po battery. It can be charged via USB C and lasts roughly a month with a full charge.
