The PowerBolt II, and its predecessor, the PowerBolt, were concepted and designed to be quick-release battery packs for the modular Flux family of products. They house a Panasonic 18500 Li-Ion battery and are operated via a membrane switch and output between 5-12V. Both the original PowerBolt and PowerBolt II are Bluetooth enabled for interaction with the FK Irons' "DarkLab" app allowing voice activated power control and firmware updates. The Powerbolt II features improved aesthetics, an OLED display, and improved Bluetooth connectivity. Additional models were made for increased capacity that utilized a Panasonic 18650 Li-Ion battery and were named PowerBolt+ and PowerBolt II+ accordingly.
