The AirBolt was designed for artists looking for a mobile solution to their traditional wired machined machines. It is a battery pack using a Panasonic 18650 Li-Ion batteries and is operated between 5-12V via the integrated membrane switch. Features include a 1/4" jack power output, and magnets for secure fastening to tattoo and permanent makeup artist stations. Voltage is displayed on the membrane switch and is discernable by the integrated tri-color LED. Because of the lower power requirements in permanent makeup due to shorter sessions, an additional model was developed specifically for the permanent makeup industry under FK Irons' sister brand "Microbeau" that utilizes a smaller chassis and Panasonic 18500 Li-Ion battery.
